Plot

Malek, a Lebanese immigrant residing in Montreal, grapples with the trauma of his sister's brutal murder, burdened by guilt over his perceived failure to protect her. Isolated and destitute, his life takes a turn when he encounters Shohreh, an Iranian woman who captures his heart. Their romance reignites his hope, leading to newfound employment and a sense of purpose. However, as old memories resurface, Malek finds himself compelled to confront his past and seek closure, ultimately striving to reclaim his sense of identity and peace.
