Plot
Set in the 1960s Netherlands, nine-year-old Thomas possesses a unique gift that allows him to perceive the extraordinary. Living under the oppressive rule of a violent, religious father, Thomas grapples with his burgeoning sense of justice and desire for freedom. As he documents his thoughts in his Book on Everything, he conjures a vibrant cast of characters, including Jesus Christ, a whimsical lady who levitates while accompanied by her cat, and a peg-legged witch next door. Through his imaginative escapades, Thomas seeks to challenge his father's tyranny and embrace his own identity.
