Plot

On February 14, 2018, during rehearsals for their annual children’s musical, drama teacher Melody Herzfeld at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School faced a devastating crisis when the fire alarm rang out, quickly followed by a Code Red alert. With courage and quick thinking, she guided her 65 students into a storage closet, seeking safety as a shooter took the lives of 17 individuals in the vicinity. The harrowing experience highlights the resilience of both the students and their teacher in the face of unimaginable tragedy.
