Walk Into Paradise (1957)

Plot

Steve McAllister, an Australian official with The New Guinea Administration, is tasked with investigating a significant oil find by Ned 'Shark-Eye' Kelly deep in the jungle. He enlists the help of Sergeant-Major Towalaka, a native policeman, for this perilous journey. Along the way, they are joined by French doctor Louise Dumurcet. Their trek takes a turn when they discover Jeff Clayton, stricken with malaria, in an abandoned village. Captured by local tribesmen, their fate changes when Dr. Dumurcet heals the chief's fever-ridden children, earning their freedom.
