In 1940, the harrowing reality of Auschwitz begins as the first group of prisoners arrives, including Tadeusz “Teddy” Pietrzykowski, a former boxing champion from Warsaw. Faced with the brutal demands of camp officers, Teddy is coerced into fighting for survival, both for himself and his fellow inmates. Each victory in the ring ignites a flicker of hope, challenging the notion of Nazi invincibility. As Teddy's defiance grows, the camp authorities become increasingly aware of the resistance brewing among the prisoners, leading to inevitable clashes with those in power.
