Afghan Luke (2011)

Plot

Disillusioned by the suppression of his explosive story on Canadian snipers in Afghanistan, Luke (Nick Stahl) resigns from his job, fueled by a fierce resolve to uncover the truth. Joined by his quirky friend Tom (Nicolas Wright), he returns to the war-torn country, aiming to gather evidence that will finally bring his story to light. However, Luke quickly discovers that Afghanistan is more perilous than he remembers. Compounding his challenges, his former ally, Mateen (Stephen Lobo), is now working for his journalistic rival, Imran Sahar (Vik Sahay). What unfolds is a surreal and treacherous odyssey through chaos and conflict.
