Plot
Set in 1828, amidst the turmoil following the suppression of revolutionary movements in the monarchist South, three close friends rally around Giuseppe Mazzini's vision for a unified Italy under republican rule. Their youthful enthusiasm drives them to fight for change, but as decades pass, the harsh realities of their quest lead to disillusionment. The bond they once shared begins to fray, revealing how deeply their ideals conflict with the complexities of a nation in turmoil over the next fifty years.
