Plot

Rodeo star Gene Autry finds himself co-owner of a ranch and a mine that supports local workers, thanks to an inheritance. The other half belongs to Barbara Erwin (Carol Hughes), a money-driven Easterner eager to sell her stake. In a bid to pressure Gene into buying her out, Barbara teams up with corrupt lawyers Arnold (Ivan Miller) and Fry (Sam Flint), who unleash a gang of thugs led by Tommick (John Merton). When a ranchero (Elias Gamboa) is fatally shot during a violent confrontation, Barbara reconsiders her choices and switches allegiance.
