Il Mare (2000)

Plot

In 1999, a young woman vacates her charming coastal home and heads back to the city, leaving a note in the mailbox for the future occupant, requesting that her mail be forwarded. Two years earlier, in 1997, a weary architect moves into the same house and discovers her letter. He responds by placing his own message in the mailbox, which miraculously reaches her. This initiates a unique love story that unfolds across time, bridging their lives despite the two-year gap separating them.
