Plot
A small California town is thrown into chaos when a deranged killer takes the identity of a deputy sheriff on his way to work. As the imposter settles into his new role, he unwittingly becomes embroiled in a sinister plot. The newly appointed sheriff and his lover are scheming to eliminate her abusive husband, intending to pin the crime on the unsuspecting deputy. Tension rises as deception and danger intertwine, leaving the town in a precarious situation where trust is scarce and betrayal lurks around every corner.
