Plot

Ryosuke, a widower living alone in Toshima, Tokyo, has adapted to life as a translator after his university teaching days. His daughter, Yuriko, is married to Shigeyuki, a teacher residing in Azumino, Nagano Prefecture. One day, Yuriko unexpectedly arrives at her father's home, leaving him both surprised and curious about her intentions. Their reunion sparks a mix of tension and warmth, as they navigate their long-standing silence and reconnect as father and daughter. The visit tests their relationship while offering a chance for healing and understanding.
