Plot

Koichi Takahasi relocates from bustling Tokyo to a quaint village in Iwate Prefecture, where his family settles into a historic farmhouse. The transition sparks mixed emotions: Fumiko, his wife, resents the move and struggles to connect with their elderly neighbors, while young Azumi faces the challenges of a new school. Koichi’s mother, Sumiyo, embraces the village life, and their son, Tomoya, revels in the freedom of outdoor play. Amidst family tensions and Koichi's work struggles, a friendly Zashiki Warashi, a playful yokai, brings levity and harmony to their new home.
