Plot

Using a blend of stop-motion animation, illustrations, and interviews, directors Amer Shomali and Paul Cowan bring to life an unbelievable true tale from the First Palestinian Intifada. The narrative centers on the Israeli army's relentless chase of eighteen cows, which produced milk independently on a Palestinian collective farm. This seemingly innocuous act was deemed a "threat to the national security of the state of Israel." The film artfully highlights the absurdity of the situation while shedding light on the broader implications of resistance during this tumultuous period.
