Plot
In the early 20th century, Joe Hill arrives in the United States with hopes for a better life, only to lose contact with his brother. Witnessing rampant injustice, he joins the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW), a clandestine union advocating for unskilled laborers. Despite restrictions on public demonstrations, Joe uses his musical talents to spread his message, inspiring workers to strike. As his influence grows, he attracts dangerous adversaries. Ultimately, he becomes embroiled in a murder trial, choosing to represent himself after dismissing his attorney, determined to fight for justice on his own terms.
