Plot

Chippey, a junior scout elf, is tasked by Santa with rekindling Taylor McTuttle's faith in the spirit of Christmas. However, when Taylor violates the cardinal rule for Elf on the Shelf, Chippey loses his magical abilities, leading to a crisis of confidence for both the elf and the boy. As the McTuttle family grapples with the loss of their scout elf, Taylor and Chippey embark on a journey of redemption. Ultimately, they discover that genuine belief is not something that can be imposed but is instead nurtured through love and forgiveness.
