Plot

During her October 1967 visit to San Francisco to promote her latest film, Agnès Varda receives a tip from friend Tom Luddy about a long-lost relative, Jean Varda, affectionately known as "Yanco." Living on a boat in Sausalito, Yanco embodies a carefree, hippie lifestyle and expresses his creativity through painting. Their heartfelt reunion becomes a joyous exploration of family ties and artistic spirit, revealing a vibrant connection between Agnès and her newfound uncle. The encounter celebrates both life and the unexpected relationships that shape it.
