Plot
As summer draws to a close, a group of California teens eagerly anticipates a surf contest. Tension rises between two rival gangs, the Vals and the Lowks, each convinced of their victory. However, the dynamics shift dramatically when Reef Yorpin, the Lowks' leader, learns that his sister Allie has fallen for Nick, a surfer from the Vals, after a chance encounter at a beach party. This unexpected romance threatens to ignite a fierce rivalry, challenging loyalties and forcing both sides to confront their competitive spirit and personal connections.
