Plot
In "Runaway Bride," Maggie Carpenter has gained a notorious reputation for abandoning three fiancés at the altar. New York reporter Ike Graham, skeptical of her story, decides to investigate and redeem his journalistic integrity by heading to her small town to cover her impending fourth wedding. Convinced that Maggie will flee once more, Ike's intentions are initially cynical. However, as he gets to know the captivating bride-to-be, he unexpectedly finds himself falling for her charm, complicating his mission and his heart.
