Plot

In "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" (1978), Krabat, a destitute youth, is drawn into the dark world of a malevolent, one-eyed sorcerer. Alongside other boys, he toils in the sorcerer’s mill while mastering the arts of black magic. Each Christmas, one boy must confront the sorcerer in a magical duel, a perilous contest that always favors the master due to his exclusive access to a powerful spell known as The Koraktor. As Krabat grapples with his fate, he must navigate the treacherous path of dark sorcery and seek a way to escape the sorcerer's grasp.
