Plot

Hi, Nellie!

Managing Editor Brad Bradshaw stands firm against publishing a story that ties Frank Canfield’s mysterious disappearance to a bank embezzlement scandal, believing in Frank's integrity. Other newspapers sensationalize the tale, leading to Brad's demotion to the Heartthrob column, where he dispenses romantic advice. After a two-month slump, he embraces his new role, turning it into a local sensation. Despite his newfound success, Brad yearns for his former position, prompting him to embark on a mission to uncover the truth behind Canfield’s vanishing act and the missing funds.
