Turning Green (2005)

Plot

In late 1970s Ireland, 16-year-old James Powers grapples with the loss of his mother and the abrupt shift to life with his three quirky aunts. Feeling out of place and yearning for America, he stumbles upon a new venture during a weekend in London. Discovering the lucrative world of pornography, he returns to Ireland to sell his finds, quickly becoming an unexpected success. As he contemplates a potential route back home, James realizes that true belonging is more about mindset than geography, leading him to redefine his understanding of home.
