Plot

Sixteen-year-old Kelly struggles with deep depression and a sense of isolation, particularly from her workaholic mother, Laura Lee. Frustrated by their lack of connection, Kelly attempts to escape her pain by reaching out to her deceased father. Though her suicide attempt fails, it jolts Laura Lee into action, prompting her to prioritize her daughter’s needs. Seeking to restore their bond and find solace, they embark on a summer retreat in a mysterious big house on the hill.
