Plot
An 11-year-old boy's aspirations of racing in the soapbox derby shatter with the loss of his father, a soldier who dies in Afghanistan. Struggling with his grief, he forms a bond with a man who also grapples with loss; this father figure's son, a firefighter, perished in the line of duty. Together, they embark on a journey of healing and rediscovery, reigniting their passion for the derby while supporting each other through their shared pain and quest for redemption.
