Plot

Set in the vibrant yet tumultuous landscape of 1980s Harlem, five teenagers navigate the challenges of growing up during the rise of hip hop amid the crack epidemic. Karon, after graduating in 1985, slips into a surreal slumber filled with vivid dreams that reveal a potential future as a drug dealer in the 1990s. His pursuit of quick riches threatens not only his future but also endangers his closest friends. Awakening back in 1985, Karon confronts the harsh reality that the tempting allure of an easy life is ultimately a path to destruction, not liberation.
