Plot

Christopher Lee takes center stage in this Amicus adaptation of the classic “Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde,” reimagined with Dr. Marlowe and Mr. Blake as the main characters. Dr. Marlowe's groundbreaking experiments with intravenous drugs aim to unlock suppressed desires, leading to the emergence of the increasingly monstrous Mr. Blake, also portrayed by Lee. His transformation spirals into chaos, as friend and fellow physician Dr. Utterson, played by Peter Cushing, grapples with the dark consequences of Marlowe's obsession.
