Plot

After the tragic loss of her father, young Annie finds herself trapped in her room by her wicked stepmother, who refuses to acknowledge her guardianship. Desperate for help, Annie sends a heartfelt note attached to a birthday balloon into the sky. Luckily, four adventurous kids spot the balloon and take on the challenge of becoming detectives. Their determination leads them to uncover the truth about Annie's situation, ultimately rescuing her and navigating the complexities of her custody battle.
