Plot

Eighty-nine-year-old Julián Moreno embarks on a poignant final bus journey to El Paso, Texas, where he reunites with his daughters and grandchildren, a monthly tradition he has cherished for decades. Upon his return to rural Mexico, Julián begins constructing a house on the vacant lot beside his own, aiming to create a tangible connection to his family. As he pours his heart into this project, he contemplates whether this new home can serve as a bridge, closing the emotional distance that grows with each passing month away from his loved ones.
