Plot

Marquis Galeazzo di Torre Alta meets a grisly end at the hands of a shadowy figure known as Diabolicus. His siblings, except for Monsignor Antonino, fall victim to the same fate, leaving Antonino as the sole heir. As the police grapple with the unsolved murders, Antonino decides to pass his inheritance to Pasquale Bonocore, his father’s illegitimate son, who is currently incarcerated. With Pasquale's imprisonment rendering him innocent, the police must sift through the remaining clues to uncover the true identity of the killer lurking in the shadows.
