Plot

Ventriloquist Jerry Morgan struggles with romance, as his ventriloquial dummies turn spiteful whenever marriage is on the table. Complicating matters, his dollmaker, Papinek, is entangled in a spy ring and has pilfered classified designs for the advanced Lafayette airplane. Facing a departure to Zurich that same evening, Morgan concocts a plan to conceal these vital blueprints within the dolls’ heads, blending his personal and professional crises into a suspenseful concoction of comedy and intrigue. As he navigates love and espionage, Morgan's life becomes a chaotic performance.
