Plot

Eddie Ogden is the star player of the Groundhogs baseball team, but his passion for cooking emerges as he discovers his culinary talent. Despite the teasing from his brothers, Andy and Alex, along with his father, Eddie secretly enrolls himself and two friends in Home Economics. Unexpectedly, he and the socially awkward Bridget Simons end up competing in a national cooking contest for kids. When his mother learns of his culinary pursuits, she surprisingly offers her support, along with their teacher, a former competition winner herself, encouraging Eddie to pursue his passion against the odds.
