Plot

Filmed in 1976 but left unfinished until 2010 due to Duke Mitchell's death, "Gone With The Pope" follows Paul, a gangster recently freed from prison. Lured by a $100,000 offer from the mafia to eliminate seven individuals, he reluctantly accepts, hoping to secure a brighter future for himself and his friends. However, his struggle to escape his criminal past leads to an audacious scheme: kidnapping the Pope and demanding fifty cents from every Catholic worldwide as ransom. The film blends gritty crime with dark humor in a tale of desperation and faith.
