Plot
Roseanne finds herself the center of Vincent's affection at school, but her home life is far from ideal. Her mother, Maggie, is entangled in an affair, leaving her alcoholic husband, Fred, furious when the truth comes to light. In his rage, Fred directs his wrath at Roseanne. As Maggie seeks revenge with the support of her boyfriend, Jimmy, an unexpected ally emerges in Vincent, who could help Roseanne escape the turmoil. This modern take on Dostoyevsky’s "Crime and Punishment" explores themes of love, betrayal, and the quest for a better future.
