Plot
In "Blue State," a disillusioned Democrat makes a rash promise during a drunken night out, vowing to relocate to Canada if George W. Bush secures a second term. When the election results come in, he finds himself compelled to honor his word. The film chronicles his comedic and often chaotic journey as he navigates the challenges of uprooting his life, confronting his beliefs, and discovering unexpected connections along the way. Ultimately, he must decide what it truly means to belong, both politically and personally, in a world divided by ideology.
