Plot

After his divorce, rigid lawyer Peter Sanderson seeks to re-enter the dating scene but struggles to find the right match. He turns to online dating and connects with a fellow attorney. However, when they meet, he is shocked to discover that his date is Charlene, an escaped African-American convict. Initially terrified, Peter is soon drawn into Charlene's plea for help in proving her innocence. As she disrupts his orderly life, Peter learns valuable lessons about relaxation and embracing spontaneity, ultimately transforming his perspective on life and love.
