Plot
Johnny Franks, a bootlegger and café proprietor, enlists the help of the rough-hewn Scorpio to bolster his criminal enterprise, orchestrated by the unscrupulous attorney Newton. As Scorpio rises through the ranks, he outmaneuvers a rival gang and amasses wealth and power, ruling over the city for years. However, his reign attracts the ire of a clandestine group of six masked businessmen who orchestrate his downfall, ultimately leading to his prosecution and a grim fate in the electric chair. Their covert influence reveals the dark underbelly of power and betrayal in the criminal world.
