Plot

Amidst the tumult of 1869, Texas remains outside the Union, plagued by the influence of carpetbaggers protected by the occupying Union Army. Federal Captain Porter, a native Texan, grapples with conflicting loyalties as he must apprehend the wrongfully accused rebel leader Ben Westman. Knowing Westman’s innocence, Porter embarks on a mission to clear his name, but in doing so, he finds himself hunted by those he once served. The struggle for justice pits him against both the law and his own past, as he fights to protect his homeland and its true heroes.
