Plot
In 1997, as Korea faces the turmoil of the Asian financial crisis, Gukbo, the leading Soju company, teeters on the edge of collapse. Ambitious young associate In-beom from the global investment firm Solquin returns home, setting his sights on Gukbo as his inaugural target in the competitive M&A landscape. Disguising his true intentions, he presents himself to Jong-rok, a dedicated Gukbo executive, as a well-meaning consultant eager to help restore the company. However, as In-beom delves deeper into Gukbo’s affairs, he uncovers a surprising twist that could change everything.
