Plot
Tom, a grieving widower, embarks on an emotional journey across Britain using his free bus pass, tracing the route from John O'Groats in Caithness to Land's End in Cornwall, the birthplace he shared with his late wife Mary. As he travels solely by local buses, nostalgic memories surface, fueled by various encounters with the colorful characters he meets along the way. Unbeknownst to Tom, his heartfelt journey captures the attention of the media, and by the time he reaches Land's End, he is unexpectedly celebrated as a local hero.
