Plot
Welsh poet Dylan Thomas embarks on a poignant final poetry tour in New York, battling personal demons and financial struggles. With a family relying on him, he reluctantly takes a gig that feels beneath his stature. As he immerses himself in the vibrant city life, Thomas finds solace in the White Horse Tavern, yet his health deteriorates amid relentless drinking and poetry readings. The climax arrives when a wild bender prevents him from delivering his last lecture, culminating in a dramatic outburst at the bar as he reflects on love, mortality, and his tumultuous existence.
