Plot
Set against the backdrop of late 1930s fashion, this vibrant Technicolor musical showcases the era's top models, some promoting household products. George Curson (Warner Baxter), the boutique owner, struggles to satisfy his demanding customers while managing his discontented wife. When wealthy socialite Wendy Van Klettering (Joan Bennett) takes a modeling gig to pass the time, her presence complicates Curson’s life as he prepares for a crucial fashion showcase at the Seven Arts Ball.
