Plot

Newly released from prison, Leila reluctantly becomes an assistant to the blind Pastor Jacob, who devotes his time to responding to heartfelt letters from the desperate. Initially viewing this task as meaningless, Leila’s perspective shifts when the influx of letters ceases, leaving Jacob despondent. As she steps up to fill the void, Leila discovers purpose in her newfound responsibilities and begins to forge a deeper connection with the pastor, ultimately transforming both their lives in unexpected ways.
