Plot

Margaret Rockland finds herself grappling with deep sadness during a holiday reunion in her childhood Washington DC suburb. While her old friends embrace conventional family lives, she learns her ex-boyfriend is set to marry a prim and proper blonde, which only intensifies her despair. Seeking escape, Margaret spirals into a wild binge of drinking and drugs. Joined by two unlikely companions, she embarks on an outrageous journey through suburban chaos, encountering kidnapping, extortion, and a series of misunderstandings that lead to hilariously awkward confrontations.
