Violent Moment (1959)

Plot

Douglas Baines, a deserter from the army, seeks refuge in a rundown apartment with his girlfriend, Daisy, and their young son, Jiffy. On Jiffy's second birthday, he arrives home with a gift, only to discover that Daisy has given their son up for adoption. When she withholds information about Jiffy's whereabouts, Douglas's desperation turns deadly, leading him to strangle Daisy in a fit of rage. With his life unraveling, he flees, facing the consequences of his violent actions while desperately searching for his son.
