Plot

Morten, a deeply religious Danish farmer, grapples with the diverse spiritual paths of his three sons. Anders remains loyal to his father's faith, but Mikkel has abandoned belief entirely, while Johannes, lost in delusion, insists he is the reincarnation of Jesus Christ. The family's faith is challenged when Mikkel's wife, Inger, faces a perilous labor. As tensions rise and differing convictions clash, each family member must confront the essence of belief and the power of hope in the face of crisis.
