The White Rose (1982)
Plot
Set against the backdrop of World War II, a group of Munich University students starts to challenge the irrationality and brutality of the Nazi regime. They establish a resistance group called the "White Rose," inspired by a clandestine newsletter they distribute among fellow students. Initially cautious and few in number, their movement gains momentum when a Nazi Gauleiter’s inflammatory speech nearly triggers a student uprising. This escalation draws the attention of the Gestapo, who are determined to track down and eliminate the members of the White Rose, intensifying the fight for freedom and justice.
