Plot
Bruno, a lonely 13-year-old from a seemingly stable family, retreats into a fantasy world following his grandmother's death, as his mother is often absent due to work. His life changes when he befriends Jean-Roger, a troubled boy from a chaotic home whose reckless behavior creates havoc at school. As their bond deepens, a concerned teacher attempts to pull Bruno away by nurturing his academic interests. This sparks jealousy in Jean-Roger, leading to increased aggression as he fights to keep his only friend close. The story poignantly highlights the struggles of neglected youth in urban environments.
