Plot

Rachel leaves her Amish background behind to chase her dream of dancing in New York City. However, Billy Minsky's Burlesque is not the ideal venue for her biblical-themed routines. The comedian Raymond devises a clever scheme to outsmart local moralists by introducing the new sensation "Mme Fifi" while showcasing Rachel's act during a raid. As chaos unfolds, Rachel's father searches desperately for her, complicating matters further. Meanwhile, both Raymond and his partner Chick find themselves captivated by Rachel, adding to the tangled web of romance and deception in this comedic escapade.
