Plot

Aging standup comedian Sweeney, known as "The Character King," lands a chance to showcase his talent on a national cable show in Los Angeles. However, he faces a tough choice: to abandon his beloved Boston characters that have defined his local fame. Reluctantly, Sweeney decides to let them go, but this decision unleashes unexpected consequences. His vibrant characters spring to life, turning menacing and intent on seeking revenge against him. As Sweeney grapples with his past and present, he must confront the very essence of his comedic identity.
