Terror in the Family (1996)

Plot

Fifteen-year-old Deena Marten yearns for the independence typical of her age, but her inability to get her way leads to explosive outbursts. Concerned about her new boyfriend, Garret, 17, her parents, Cynthia and Todd, feel increasingly helpless. Meanwhile, Deena's sister, Stephanie, finds solace in alcohol, while Todd buries himself in work to avoid the turmoil at home. Unbeknownst to them, their 13-year-old son Adam has also succumbed to the family's chaos, secretly drinking vodka from a bottle stashed in his room. The family's struggles spiral further, highlighting their deepening dysfunction.
