Plot
Twelve-year-old Cory, an anxious altar boy grappling with the aftermath of his father's murder, is drawn out of his shell by his daring best friend, Ben. Seeking a rite of passage, they venture into the wild for their inaugural overnight fishing trip on the serene Wolf River in the Mississippi Bayou. However, their adventure quickly spirals into chaos when they inadvertently cross paths with a ruthless hitman on a mission to settle a gambling debt, putting the boys' lives in grave danger. As fear sets in, they must navigate both their fears and the perilous situation.
